Faculty/Staff Permits

Permit Information

You may register your vehicle online which is the most convenient method. You will avoid the long lines if you do so. All permits must be properly affixed to your windshield before they are considered valid, so please allow for mail time.

To register your vehicle in person, you must bring in your current vehicle registration, faculty/staff ID, and a copy of your appointment papers or PAN form. You may register a single vehicle, two primary vehicles, or opt to use the validation system. Using the validation system allows you to register two vehicles while only having one on campus at a time. You may not register motorcycles on-line. All permits must be properly affixed to your windshield before they are considered valid.

The cost to register a primary vehicle is $35.50 per month for 2008-2009 and $37.25 per month for 2009-2010. The cost to register vehicles using the validation system is $40.50 per month for 2008-2009 and $42.25 per month for 2009-2010. You may pay by using American Express, Discover, Master Card, Visa, Check, money order, or use payroll deduction (if you qualify).

If the vehicle which is currently registered with the Parking Office is being repaired then you may come into the office for a temporary permit. If you will be driving a different vehicle for more than 3 or 4 days, you must bring something from the body shop stating the number of days they will have the vehicle. You must bring in the current vehicle registration for the loaner car when you come to get your temporary permit.

Employees with current permits may also request calendar permission one day only out of each calendar month. Calendar permission is obtained by calling the Parking Office immediately upon arriving to work.

If you change vehicles, you must scrape off your permit and bring the pieces in for a new permit. There is a $2.00 replacement fee. You must bring in the current vehicle registration for the vehicle that you will register, along with your faculty/staff ID.
If you use the validator system then you must bring in both your scraped off permit and your validator.

If you are having your windshield replaced, you must scrape off your permit and bring in the pieces. We will then issue you a replacement permit for your new windshield. There is a $2.00 replacement fee.

Important Information

Please note that at times parking spaces and/or areas may be reserved for special events, and an additional fee will be charged. For example, permits for Lot 100 are not valid on home football game days as Lot 100 is reserved for football parking on these days. If you choose to park in Lot 100 on a home football game day, then you will be charged the special event parking fee in order to do so.
