Aggravated Felonious Assault    

EAST LANSING, Mich. — The Michigan State University Police Department is investigating an aggravated felonious assault that occurred when a 23-year-old pizza delivery man was attacked at 11 p.m. Jan. 12 in the West Shaw Hall loop.

Police said the victim was assaulted after he stopped his vehicle at West Shaw Hall where he was to make the delivery. The victim said a car pulled up behind him, and the driver and one of her passengers dragged him out of his car, punching and kicking him several times before driving away.

The victim told police that a few minutes prior to the incident, he had attempted to pass the same vehicle on Grand River Avenue and noticed the driver appeared agitated and sounded her horn. 

Police said the victim had a large gash above his left eyebrow and possibly lost consciousness. He was transported to Sparrow Hospital by East Lansing Fire Department paramedics for further treatment.
